DISTRIBUTION

5.

Wine Distributor for a Membership Organization Grower Co-op

The client is in the distribution business, but is owned by 20 wineries and operates financially as a not-for-profit. The multiple electronic interfaces and the public warehouse nature of the inventory were particularly challenging. We assisted them with working out the combined operations model, selected the system and implemented the solution.

6.

Large Construction Material Distributor and Retailer

The engagement required consideration of the sometimes-conflicting demand between the wholesale customers and the retail accounts – sometime the same entity. This made pricing algorithms particularly interesting. We analyzed the business issues and assisted them, in selecting software that would support the necessary business processes.

HOSPITALITY

7.

Large hotel chain

The client was moving all back-office operations to a shared-services center, and needed to determine how to perform financial reporting in this new environment. We analyzed the situation and concluded that the operational systems would remain, and that a new financial system would be implemented on top. We monitored the project milestones and served as the client’s quality control mechanism.
